Natural results.
Refined by design.
Cosmetic injectables by Dr. Tammy Chu — a DMD-trained aesthetic injector bringing surgical precision to Botox and dermal fillers in Grande Prairie.

Why Dr. Tammy
Precision is in
the training.
With a B.Sc and a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), Dr. Tammy Chu has an intimate understanding of facial anatomy — the nerves, muscles, and structures beneath the skin that most injectors never directly study. That depth of knowledge translates into safer, more precise injectable treatments with consistently natural results.
Based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Dr. Tammy specializes in a subtle, enhancement-first approach. No frozen foreheads. No overfilled lips. Just a refreshed, balanced version of you.

What we offer
Treatments designed
for balance.
Every face is different. Dr. Tammy takes a whole-face approach — assessing proportion, structure, and symmetry before recommending any treatment.
Botox & Anti-wrinkle Injections
Botox temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles — the kind formed by expressions like smiling, squinting, or frowning. Dr. Tammy's dental background means she understands facial musculature at a depth that guides precise, conservative dosing. You'll look rested and refreshed, not frozen.
Dermal Fillers
Hyaluronic acid fillers restore volume, define contours, and smooth deep folds. Dr. Tammy approaches filler with an artist's eye and a clinician's restraint — the goal is always to enhance what's already there. With her DMD training, she has an exceptional command of lip anatomy and nerve mapping, making her particularly skilled for anything on or around the mouth.
Choose the area you're interested in below — each has its own technique, timing, and expected result.
Shape, volume, and definition tailored to your natural lip anatomy. Dr. Tammy's DMD training makes her uniquely qualified for lip filler — she knows the orbicularis oris muscle and vermilion border the way most injectors simply don't.
Book Lip FillerRestore youthful lift and volume to flat or hollowed cheeks. Placed deep on the bone for a natural, lifted result — not the "apple cheek" look. Excellent for overall facial balance.
Book Cheek FillerDefine and sharpen the jawline for improved facial structure and a slimmer silhouette. Often combined with chin filler and Botox to the masseter for a comprehensive lower-face sculpt.
Book Jawline FillerProject and balance a recessed chin for improved side profile and facial harmony. A small amount of filler here can dramatically change the proportion between nose, lips, and lower face.
Book Chin FillerSoften the hollow or dark shadow under the eyes that makes you look permanently tired. One of the most technique-sensitive areas — Dr. Tammy approaches this conservatively, prioritizing safety and natural appearance.
Book Tear TroughSoften the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth. Dr. Tammy often addresses these indirectly via cheek filler for a more natural result than filling the fold directly.

The injector
Trained to see
the whole face.
Dr. Tammy Chu holds a B.Sc and a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), and practices as a cosmetic injector in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Her medical training gave her something most aesthetic injectors spend years trying to acquire: a deep, hands-on understanding of facial anatomy — the bones, nerves, blood vessels, and muscles that define every face.
She brought that foundation into aesthetics because she saw how much it mattered. Precision placement isn't just technique — it's knowing exactly what's beneath the needle and why it matters.
Credentials
Trained. Certified. Precise.
A science degree followed by a full DMD and years of clinical practice underpin every injectable treatment — giving Dr. Tammy an anatomical edge that's genuinely rare in aesthetics.
Certified in Botox and dermal fillers through accredited aesthetic medicine courses. Ongoing education to stay current with best practices and emerging techniques.
Dr. Tammy is part of the Grande Prairie community. She sees her patients around town and takes the long-term view on results — not just the next appointment.
"The best result is the one nobody else can pinpoint — they just think you look amazing."
Dr. Tammy's approach is built around the idea that aesthetic treatment should be invisible. Not because you're hiding anything — but because your result should look like the best version of you, not like you've had something done.
That means conservative dosing, careful placement, and a whole-face perspective. It means turning patients away when they want something that won't suit their face. And it means being honest, even when that's not what someone wants to hear.
It's not the flashiest way to practice. But it's the way that builds a reputation worth having — one patient at a time.

Your information
Privacy policy.
How the information you share with this site is collected, used, and protected.
This policy covers this website and the consultation request form on the Contact page. It follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Effective July 2026.
What this site collects
Only what you type into the consultation form:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The treatment you're interested in
- Anything you write in the message box (optional)
Nothing is collected behind the scenes. Browsing this site is anonymous — there are no accounts, and no information is gathered until you choose to send the form.
What it's used for
One thing: responding to your request and arranging your consultation. By sending the form you consent to being contacted electronically — by email, phone, or Instagram DM — about your request. Your details are not added to any marketing list, and they are never sold or shared with third parties.
Where it goes
When you send the form, your submission is handed to an email service (Resend) that emails it straight to the clinic team. It is not stored in a database — neither this website nor that service keeps a copy of your submission. Once the email reaches the clinic, it lives in the clinic's own inbox like any other email.
How long it's kept
If you book a consultation, the details you shared may become part of your consultation record, kept as required for a health record. If you don't go ahead, your inquiry email is deleted once it's no longer needed to respond to you.
Spam prevention
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from automated bots. It is not an advertising or analytics tool and is not used to track you or profile your browsing; it only helps confirm you're human before your message is sent.
Cookies & analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The only third-party request the site makes is loading the Cloudflare Turnstile spam check described above; apart from that, nothing is loaded from outside servers.
A note about email
Ordinary email is not end-to-end encrypted. Please keep detailed medical or health information out of the form — that conversation belongs in your in-person consultation.
Questions & requests
You can ask at any time to see, correct, or delete the information you've sent, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Reach out through the consultation form or by Instagram DM to @drtammychu. If you feel a privacy concern hasn't been resolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).
The fine print
Website terms.
The terms that apply when you use this website and its consultation form.
These terms cover this website only. By browsing it or sending the consultation form, you're agreeing to them. Effective July 2026.
Information, not medical advice
Everything on this site describes treatments in general terms. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation for you personally — whether a treatment suits you can only be decided at a consultation. Results vary from person to person, and nothing here promises a particular outcome. Treatments shown are intended for adults.
Browsing isn't a patient relationship
Reading this site or sending the consultation form doesn't make you a patient. A provider–patient relationship begins only at an in-person consultation, after Dr. Tammy has assessed whether a treatment is right for you.
Not for emergencies
The consultation form and Instagram DMs are not monitored around the clock. If you have a medical emergency, call 911; for urgent health advice in Alberta, call Health Link at 811.
The consultation form
Submitting the form means you consent to be contacted electronically — by email, phone, or Instagram DM — about your request. You can withdraw that consent at any time. How your information is handled is covered by the Privacy Policy. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to screen out automated submissions. Please use the form honestly and only for genuine consultation requests — no automated submissions or spam.
